Halfway through august and I hope that this is the week that my account is going to reach for the stars because it’s about time if you ask me. My account was down, again, $127 dollars for the week and once again I didn’t lose any cents, woooo hooo!.

I had no trades last week.

My investments, 100 Allied Irish Banks PLC (AIB) shares, 400 Citigroup (C) shares, 500 Fannie Mae (FNMA) shares, 2500 First National Bancshares Inc (FNSC) and 24,000 EuroBancshares Inc (EUBK).

Another week and I just can’t catch a break or a cold for that matter, my account was down $110 dollars but I didn’t lose any cents, oh yeah. The only thing that I can do at this point is to sit back, relax and hope that things don’t get worse.

I think that I am going to stop mentioning that I have winning or losing weeks from now on. Anyway, I am the victim of my own choices, more on that on a coming post,  and as a result my account was down $153.10 for the week and that sucks the big sucker.

After a four week losing streak my account finally managed a winning week. My account was up, finally, $162.20 and hopefully this is the beginning of a long, long winning streak. I am also hoping that some of my heavily hit stocks start to make a comeback, we are going to have to wait and see what happens.

The market has been acting up and as a result of that my account has taken a hit, a big hit. Let me give you an example, back in the middle of November ‘09 I decided to go ahead and buy 2500 shares of First National Bancshares Inc (FNSC) as a long term investment.

I expected that those 2500 shares would go up, I would then sell and with the profit invest again. Well, things have not worked out the way I expected, as of today my shares have lost 97.01% of their value and are worth a grand total of $75 big ones.

I am a very optimistic guy and hopefully the stock will rise and in the end I will end up making money but I also know that I have to get used to the idea that I probably won’t see much if any of my $2507 ever again, investing can sure be fun, lots of fun.
