My personal investment is getting closer to the $1,500 dollar mark and I couldn’t be happier. It is a good thing when your money works hard for you unfortunately my money has been slacking off lately, lets just hope that it starts to work hard for me real soon. Are you listening to me?, I have a feeling that it is not. Now, it’s time to check those numbers and see how I am doing.

It is that time of the year again to find out who is the world’s richest man. Last year Bill Gates was number one but this year we have a new number one according to Forbes.com, here are the top five.

1. Warren Buffet moves to the top of the list with $62 billion dollars. That is up $10 billion from a year ago.
2. Carlos Slim Helu is the second richest man with $60 billion dollars. That is up $11 billion since last March.
3. Bill Gates who had been the world’s riches man 13 years straight falls to third with $58 billion dollars. That is up just $2 billion from a year ago, poor guy.
4. Lakshmi Mittal  is number four with $45 billion dollars.
5. Mukesh Ambani takes fifth place with only $43 billion dollars. That is up a whooping $22.9 billion since last year.

I was going to be in the list, top five to be exact, but they didn’t get to me in time for the story. It is  funny how that always seems to happen to me every year huh.
