The last time that I remember the market moving up four days in a row was, hey I don’t even remember when that happened. The market was up but I still lost money and that has been the story of my investments so far but that is ok. I sure hope that we can make it five days in a row but I am not going to hold my breath.

The beginning of another week and I am so happy that this week is only a 3 day work week. I know that the markets will be closed on Thursday but not sure about Friday, I have to check that. Anyway, last week was a very bad week, the way most weeks have been for a while now and as a result my account was down $912.30 and that is the way it is. I guess that when it rains it really pours huh.

Debt, It Keeps Growing!!

November 21st, 2008 | No Comments | Filed in Personal Debt

If you have been reading Mydailymundo then you know that I have been doing some shopping recently and as a result my debt has been growing. You can read my first post on the subject here. When I wrote that post my debt was $381.57 and my plan was to pay it off  and I am quoting here, “before this year is over and begin the new year debt free”, well that is not going to happen. Fast forward to today and after a shopping trip to the mall a couple of weeks ago my debt has ballooned to $661.35 and I am beginning to wonder if I really do need new shoes, and socks to go with them of course, right now.

I was going to go to Washington DC and ask for a bailout since everybody seems to be getting as much as they want but after thinking about it long and hard, ok I thought about it for 2 seconds, I decided not to go that route and just deal with it myself. It will take me a couple more months that previously planned but I will pay it.

A Journal?

November 19th, 2008 | No Comments | Filed in Business

As you know one of my biggest dreams is to have my own business. I have written about that here, just check under the Business category for all related posts. Just because I have not posted anything about it recently does not mean that I have given up, not at all. I still have my plans for world domination, I just don’t have a set date. What I am going to do from now on is to keep a journal of every step I take, from beginning to end and sometime down the line post it for everybody to see. Hopefully that will help somebody who is in the same situation that I am in and that in itself is worth all the effort. Anyway, that is all I am saying about it for now.

We begin a new week and just like that we are getting closer and closer to 2009. Hard to believe that the year is almost over, what does that have to do with investing?, nothing as far as I know. Anyway, last week was right down brutal and I have the financial scars to show. My account was down $357.80 for the week and honestly I wasn’t expecting to be up. We’ll see what news this week brings.
