Embarrassing

May 20th, 2009 | No Comments | Filed in Uncategorized

I avoid discussing politics on my blogs and have mentioned it a couple of times just in passing. I do however have to comment on the current California budget crisis because I live here and it will affect me. How could we the people have allowed such idiots to run the state into the ground?, It is those idiots up in Sacramento that are at fault, 90% at fault I would say, and it shows to the tune of a $21+ billion dollar deficit. Why are they 90% at fault?, because they are supposed to “know Better” and because they abused the power given to them. They care more about politics than they do about doing what is right for the people and that is wrong, wrong wrong!!. Shame on us!! for allowing stupid politicians to do what they have done, shame on us!! for putting politics ahead of common sense and now we will have to pay for our own stupidity with our pocketbooks. I am hoping that we will learn something from the current crisis but I am sad to say that I truly doubt it.

Trying To Save Some Money

May 13th, 2009 | No Comments | Filed in Personal Debt

I am trying to keep expenses under control as much as I can specially now that I am driving and paying for gas. I have been thinking of axing my original blog and in the process save myself $120 dollars which is what I pay yearly for hosting. I don’t post there anymore but it’s my first blog and as such it has a lot of sentimental value for me. If I was making gazillions of dollars I wouldn’t mind a bit keeping it forever but I am not, not yet anyway. Something’s going to have to give soon and when that happens my original blog may end up paying the price. I also have a couple of domain names that I don’t think are worth keeping so I am thinking of cancelling them as well. In the end it’s all about saving as much money as you can during this tough times.
