Million Dollar Idea?

May 8th, 2009 | No Comments | Filed in Business

Wednesday night I just couldn’t go to sleep, nothing new there, so I spent most of the night surfing the net checking financial info all over the place. I also spent a lot of time brainstorming ideas, business ideas to be more specific and I came up with one if you can believe it. The idea was just under my nose and somehow I just didn’t see it, I read an article and then that light bulb, fluorescent light bulb to be exact, just lit up leaving me asking the question, how come I didn’t see that before?. That seems to be the case with many, not all, ideas, you don’t see it until you either, read, hear or see something that reminds you of said something and all of the sudden there it is. Anyway, then I started to do some research online and finally I started connecting dots and quickly realized that the idea would work. All I have to do is take that next step which happens to be hardest as we all know and it’s what holds me back many times from trying to start my own business and being my own boss and that is very frustrating to say the least.

National Bank of Edwin

I am a saver, I try to save as much as I can from every paycheck I get. I have two envelopes, one is named 10% and the other is named NBE or National Bank of Edwin, please no comments about the name. NBE I use mostly for birthdays and Christmases and the 10% one I’d rather not talk about it today but maybe someday I will tell you the story. Well, I have decided to combine the two together into one single envelope and I will use the NBE name because lets face it, that is a way cooler name than 10%. I will continue to use the money for the same reasons that I stated above, the only difference now is that the envelope will be a bit fatter and last I checked there was over $1000 dollars in each envelope so the NBE will be fat indeed. That money is not working at all for me so I am thinking of putting it in the bank so it will make me something after all when a birthday or Christmas comes I can always make a withdrawal, I surprise myself sometimes.
