Waiting

As you all know I have been sitting on some cash ever since I sold my AIG shares. Well, I decided to put a limit order on First National Bank Shares Inc. (FNSC), so if the stock price reaches $1 dollar, the current price as I write this is $1.20, my order will be triggered and I will end up with 2500 shares. I don’t know what it is with me and the financial sector, banks to be more specific, but I seem to be a sucker for them. If I do see something else that looks good, to me at least, I will buy that but so far I see no other candidates that meet my criteria, stay tuned.

The beginning of a brand new investing week and I am ready for it. For some strange reason when last Friday came along I though that my account had lost money for the week but after checking everything out my account was up $211 dollars, that is what happens when you don’t pay attention to what is going on around you. I am planning to keep a closer eye on the market this week because I don’t want any surprises, here is the report.

I had no trades last week.

My investments, 50 Dow Chemical Co (DOW) shares, 100 Allied Irish Banks PLC (AIB) shares, 400 Citigroup (C) shares and 500 Fannie Mae (FNM) shares.

Total Money Balance $2,553.15

Effective Immediately!!

October 7th, 2009 | No Comments | Filed in Personal Debt

Effective immediately credit cards are off limits until further notice. The only exceptions are as follows, when I buy Modern Warfare 2 in November since I already reserved it, when I go to the dentist, I know, I know, when I fill up the car on Fridays and in case of an emergency, buying fast food is not considered an emergency. I want to concentrate on paying my debt as much as I can before the year is over and not using my credit cards will be a great start.
