The last Investing Report of November is finally here and just like that 2009 is almost over. Last week was a pretty bad for the market with big swings, up one day down the next or something like that. With all that turbulence I expected my account to be down but to my surprise it was actually up $72 big ones and that, as you know, is the way I like it. Can’t wait to see what December has in store for all of us, stay tuned.

My investments, 50 Dow Chemical Co (DOW) shares, 100 Allied Irish Banks PLC (AIB) shares, 400 Citigroup (C) shares, 500 Fannie Mae (FNM) shares and 2500 First National Bancshares Inc (FNSC).

We have a short trading week ahead thanks to the Thanksgiving Holiday this Thursday and come Friday the market will close early. The week wasn’t that bad and as a result my account was down only $9.50 and that is welcomed news. For some reason, don’t ask me why because I don’t know, I was expecting a bigger loss. Anyway, I hope this week is a lot better than last because frankly I need new shoes.

I was wide awake this past Thursday night, can’t sleep sometimes you know, just thinking when all of the sudden an idea hit me. As you know I want to be my own boss one day and have my own business, I have plenty of ideas but I am missing the most important part which is to take that next step.

Anyway, so there I am thinking about a particular idea that I have and going through every step to take to make it a reality. I remember thinking, if you do this you can advertise it this way and it will take off like the space shuttle. I even laughed after I went through everything again and remember saying to myself, hey, that could work. 

Back in October I wrote a post about the $1 dollar limit order I placed on First National Bancshares Inc (FNSC). Well, last Wednesday my order was triggered and I ended up with 2500 shares. That is the good news and now for the bad, the next day the stock took a tumble and just like that my stock lost me about $700 dollars. I wasn’t happy to say the least but I am a patient guy and I am pretty sure that soon this one will be making me money, stay tuned.

I am so glad that the new investing week is here because last one wasn’t that good to me. The past is the past now and now I look forward not to the future but this week. My account was down $344.50 last week mostly because of a trade, I will tell you more about it on Wednesday. In the meantime, have a cup of coffee, sit down and enjoy the report.
