February is flying by faster than fast but my account is not. I would be so happy if my account were to grow faster than fast but I am going to have to settle for the old nice and steady. My account was up $110.75 and all I can say is, about time.

My investments, 50 Dow Chemical Co (DOW) shares, 100 Allied Irish Banks PLC (AIB) shares, 400 Citigroup (C) shares, 500 Fannie Mae (FNM) shares and 2500 First National Bancshares Inc (FNSC).

The market seems to be running in place, standing there at the corner just waiting for the light to change. Problem is, it doesn’t know which way to go. As a result my account lost $144.25 for the week and I just can’t seem to get a break. Hopefully this week will be better but we are going to have to wait and see if that is the case, won’t we?.

I have been thinking of buying some shares but with no free money in my account about the only thing I can do is think about it or look somewhere else. That somewhere else is my savings account where I have some money available. The choices, I could let my money park in my bank earning me pennies or I could buy some shares and possibly earn a lot more, stay tuned.

So far this year I have nothing to show for, the market seems to be lost and unable to make a decision and I don’t like it. As a result of that my account was down $30.50 for the week. That may not seem like much but just like everybody else I would rather make a buck than lose thirty.

The market has started to act up and I don’t think that anybody likes it. So far this year I am have been on the losing side but fear not, the year is still young.
