403-B/DCP

January 4th, 2008 | Filed under 403b.

Welcome to the new investing report. In the old days this posts used to go by the name Investing 101 but no longer. From now on these posts will be known simply as 403-B/DCP. Check bellow and you will see exactly how much I am starting the year with. Every paycheck $50 dollars are deducted and invested in my 403-B and once a month less than $20 is deducted and invested in my Defined Contribution Plan or DCP for short. The difference between the two is that the 403-B is voluntary and the DCP is mandatory. The money is then invested in Mutual Funds that I can choose but there are no single stocks to invest in. Here is hoping that this new year brings a bunch of gains and few if any losses, hey a guy can dream right?.
